Iceland

Iceland is an island in the Nordic region it is a popular tourist destination because of its landscape with volcanoes, geysers, hot springs and lava fields. Reykjavik is the capital of Iceland. A lot of homes and businesses are run on geothermal power in Iceland.

I would visit the Blue Lagoon, Spectacular Geysers, Dettifoss Waterfall and the Northern Lights

  • The Blue Lagoon is an iconic of geothermal spa, where people go bathing in pale blue water.
  • Strokkur Geysir is the most popular geyser in the country and is famous all over the world. Every few minutes, the glacier shoots water 30 meters into the air.
  • Dettifoss, is a breathtaking waterfall, it’s said to be the most powerful waterfall in Europe because it plunges 45 meters and with a width of 100 meters,

  • The Northern Lights, or Aurora Borealis, is a very popular tourist attractions in Iceland. This wonderful sight happens when the solar wind and the sun particles become trapped in the earth’s magnetic field and collide with atmosphere  causing a burst of energy, which appears as large circles and different colouts around the sky.
  •  Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon.  These are large chunks of floating ice that have separated from the glacier. They ranges in size from small pebbles to the size of a cars, because the ice is floating in the lagoon, you are able to touch them. If you take a boat tour to this fantastic place.
