France
France is a Country in Western Europe,where there are beautiful cities, skiing alpine villages and Mediterranean beaches. It is also famous for its wine,cuisine and cafes.
I would visit France if I was to travel around Europe, the places I would visit Paris.
Paris is the capital of France. In 2016 it was the second most expensive place to live in the world. In 2019 it was the second most visited city in the world. I would visit the Eiffel Tower, the Lourve museum, L’Arc de Triomphe and the Notre Dame cathedral.
- The Eiffel Tower is Paris most reconisable landmark. It was built to commenerate the 100th anniverisity of the French Revelotion,
- The Lourve Museum is the worlds most famous museum. The most famous painting here is Leonardo Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa.
- Arc de Triomphe is one of the most famous monuments in Paris. It honours those that fought and died for Framce in the French Revolution and Napoleonic wars.
- Notre Dame is a medieval Catholic Catheral which was seriously damaged by fire in 2019 but is being restored and opened again in 2024.
