Italy

Italy is a European country which has a long Mediterranean coastline. Rome is Its capital and home to the Vatican City.

In Italy I would visit Venice.

Venice, is the capital of northern Italy’s Veneto region. It is built on a lagoon in the Adriatic Sea, so it  has no roads and the only way to travel around Venice is on the canals.

  • The Grand Canal is the waterway through Venice. It is in a large S shape and splits the city in two sides.

  • The Patriarchal Cathedral Basilica of Saint Mark, commonly known as St Mark’s Basilica, is a cathedral church. It is the most famous church in Venice.
